The LS offers active grille shutters, signature daytime running lights, heated power mirrors, 18-inch aluminum wheels, running boards, deep tinted rear glass, and roof rails. A trailer hitch receiver with wiring harness is standard. LT models feature a height programmable power liftgate with memory. Premier trim gives you high-intensity discharge headlamps, fog lamps, 20-inch wheels, power folding mirrors with auto-dimming driver's side, color-keyed body moldings, and a programmable hands-free liftgate.

Powering the Suburban is a 355 horsepower 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V-8 engine that delivers 383 pound-feet of torque to the rear wheels or the available all-wheel drive system. It's mated to six-speed automatic transmission that offers manual shifting.

For city driving, the 5.3 V-8 engine can return up to 15 mpg, while you can get 22 mpg on the highway. The Suburban has the capacity to tow an impressive 8,300 pounds with the optional Max Trailering Package. For passenger comfort, LS and LT trims feature premium smooth ride suspension, while magnetic ride control on Premier models provides enhanced ride quality.
