Trim Levels (Exterior)


Offered in S, SE, Titanium, Platinum, and V-6 Sport trim levels, the Fusion has a stylish front end, a sleekly sculpted profile, and sporty rear-end styling. S trim offers a chrome-accented black grille, automatic headlamps, configurable daytime running lights (DRL), 16-inch alloy wheels, color-keyed door handles, power side mirrors, and LED taillights.

SE models add a chrome-finished grille, LED DRL, and 17-inch wheels, while the Titanium features LED fog and headlamps, 18-inch wheels, chrome accented door handles, rear decklid spoiler and auto-dimming heated mirrors with approach lights, turn signals, and memory. Platinum trim has a chrome mesh grille, and dual bright exhaust tips, while the V-6 Sport gets a unique grille, 19-inch wheels, and quad exhaust tips.

Engine (Power)


Under the hood of S and SE models is a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 175 horsepower and 175 pound-feet of torque to the front wheels. Optional for the SE is a 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine generating 181 horsepower and 185 pound-feet of torque.

Titanium and Platinum models get a 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine that is also optional in the SE. It produces 240 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The V-6 Sport has a 2.7-liter turbocharged V-6 engine producing 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is paired with all engines.

Performance


With the 2.0-liter turbo and 2.5 liter engines, you'll get up to 21 mpg for city driving and 31 mpg on the highway. The 1.5-liter turbo will return up to 23 and 34 mpg for city and highway driving. Titanium and Platinum models offer the option of all-wheel drive, while the V-6 Sport comes standard with AWD and can accelerate you from zero to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.

Interior


The stylish cabin of the S trim features push-button start, cloth seating, 60/40 split folding rear seats, manual climate control, a 4.2-inch cluster display, a rotary gear shift dial, a 4.2-inch central display, and a four-speaker sound system. SE trim adds automatic dual-zone climate control and the Sync 3 multimedia system with smartphone compatibility, a Wi-Fi hot spot, an eight-inch touch screen, and six speakers.

Titanium trim offers remote start, leather upholstery, power driving seat with memory, heated front seats, leather-bound steering wheel, dual 4.2-inch cluster displays, ambient lighting, and 12-speaker Sony audio. Platinum models feature upgraded leather, ventilated front seats, heated steering wheel, power moonroof, and navigation.

Safety Features


Standard for the Fusion are AdvanceTrac with electronic stability control, an anti-lock braking system, brake assist, auto high beams, rain-sensing wipers, and individual tire pressure monitoring. SE models have rear parking sensors, while the Platinum adds radar cruise control with stop and go, lane keeping assistance, frontal collision alert with automatic emergency braking, blind spot monitoring with cross-traffic alert, and an automated parking system.
