Exterior Trims
The 2019 Nissan Sentra offers five trims that offer various features and a competitive price range. These include the S, SV, SR and SR Turbo, NISMO, and SL.
The Sentra’s exterior design features smooth lines and sculpted curves and contours for a stylish look enhanced with expressive headlights, visually appealing wheel wells, and an elegant grille across all trims.
2019 Sentra S
The base S is powerful. Like all the trims, it offers plenty of headroom and legroom in its well-designed cloth upholstery interior. It also provides keyless entry for convenience. The Sentra rides on 16-inch steel wheels and provides a clear view for the driver with a rearview camera and automatic headlights. Inside, a 5.0-liter instrument cluster and 7.0-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, and USB port keep the driver well-connected and informed for the drive ahead. A four-speaker audio system provides options for plenty of entertainment.
2019 Sentra SV
The Sentra SV is the next step trim in line and includes additional features such as Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, dual-zone climate control, and keyless start. The SV is fitted with 16-inch alloy wheels, two extra USB ports, and a 6-speaker audio system.
2019 Sentra SR and SR Turbo
The Sentra SR and SR Turbo add a splash of dash and sportiness with exterior enhancements that make it stand out from the crowd, such as a rear spoiler, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a chrome-tipped exhaust pipe. LED low-beam headlights, heated side mirrors, and fog lights assure the driver of a clear and confident drive.
2019 Sentra NISMO
For high-end performance, the NISMO trim features 18-inch alloy wheels fitted with all-season performance tires and suspension designed for a sporty ride. The interior continues the sporty look with sport seats in suede-like upholstery and a Bose 8-speaker audio system. A 5.8-inch touch screen and heated front are additions to the NISMO’s convenience features.
2019 Sentra SL
The high-end SL adds an elegant touch with leather upholstery and a moonroof. Inside, drivers have a power-operated seat for convenience, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and an 8-speaker Bose system.
Power
The Sentra offers a choice of two engines and transmissions. The SR Turbo and NISMO come equipped with a 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-4 engine with a choice of a continuously variable transmission (CVT) or a 6-speed manual.
The 1.6-liter provides ample power, producing 188 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 177 pound-feet of torque at 1,600 to 5,200 rpm.
The S, SV, SR, and SL are equipped with a 1.8-liter inline-4 with a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic.
The 6-speed manual 1.8-liter produces 130 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 128 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm. The CVT automatic produces 124 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 125 pound-feet of torque at 3,600 rpm.
