Kiepersol

At Kiepersol, you’ll experience one of Texas’ premier wine, food, and spirits destinations. Taking a tour of this facility will give you a behind the scenes look at what goes into preparing their delightful bottles of wine and spirits. Your tour will consist of stories that relate the 20-year history of this farm while you stand in awe of the 700 barrels of wine that surround you. Tours are offered on Saturdays at either 2 or 4 p.m., and walking tours take place Tuesday through Friday at 1 p.m.

Briar Creek Vineyards

The 2.5 acre Briar Creek Vineyards is close to Tyler, yet you’ll feel as though you’re far out in the country while you’re here. This vineyard grows red grapes that produce exceptional wines such as cabernet sauvignon, syrah, merlot, zinfandel, and more. Stop by the winery any Saturday from 2 to 6 p.m. to take a tour and try out some of the flavors that come from the wines produced on-site at Briar Creek. Some of their most popular labels include the Trio, which is a blend of sangiovese, syrah, zinfandel, and merlot, and the Texas Two Step.

Pelle Leguna Vineyards

With the beautiful piney woods of Texas as a backdrop, the Pelle Leguna Vineyards provides guests with incredible views in addition to their wonderful variety of wines. To take a tour of Pelle Leguna, you need to schedule it ahead of time. Your tour will include an intimate pairing of eight of their wines with a charcuterie board as well as a look at the beautiful grounds. You can enjoy wine varieties such as moscato, cabernet sauvignon, and both red and white blends. Join their wine club to get exclusive access to wines.

M6 Winery

M6 Winery offers some of the best wine from around Texas as well as around the globe. They have events throughout the year where you can try their amazing wines paired with some of their delectable food items. For a fun girls day out, try the chocolate flight. You’ll get three different wines and three chocolates, so you can pair each wine with the chocolate and determine which is your favorite combination. If you prefer cheese with your wine, have the cheese flight instead. If you join the wine club, you’ll get their wines delivered right to your door.
